Lane Closure Postponed – South Marion Road

The work on South Marion Road between Dardanella Road and 26th Street originally scheduled to begin on November 6, 2023, has been postponed.

Beginning on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, the outside southbound lane of South Marion Road will be closed between Dardanella Road and 26th Street to allow crews to perform sidewalk repairs.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Utility Work – Magnolia Avenue and Fireside Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, crews will be performing repairs to the sanitary sewer on South Magnolia Avenue between Southeastern Avenue and 52nd Street and on South Fireside Avenue between Magnolia Avenue and 51st Street. There will be intermittent short term lane restrictions, short term road closures, and driveway access restrictions as the work progresses.

Weather permitting, the repairs are anticipated to be complete within one week.

Lane Closures – 11th Street

Beginning on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, the parking, northern most, and center lanes on West 11th Street will be closed between Minnesota Avenue and Main Avenue.

Tessiers will be working with a crane for a roof top unit repair.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day.
