Elmwood Bike Trail Closure

Beginning on Thursday, August 8, 2024, the bike trail will be closed from the pedestrian bridge at Elmwood Golf Course/Maple Street north to the diversion dam to allow crews to perform asphalt repairs. Bike trail traffic will be detoured to the east side of the river on the gravel levee top. Users are urged to proceed with caution on the loose gravel surface.

This work is expected to be complete in one day, weather permitting.

Trail users are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
