Street Construction Update

Lane Closure – Madison Street

Beginning on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, the outside eastbound lane on West Madison Street will be closed beginning just east of Marion Road.

Xcel Energy will be working on their poles.

This work is anticipated to be completed in approximately two days.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 18th Street

Beginning on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, the eastbound lane on West 18th Street will be closed from Willow Avenue to West Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete repairs. The eastbound traffic will be maintained in the center turn lane.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed in two weeks.
