Street Closure – Fourth Avenue

Beginning on Friday, August 16, 2024, South Fourth Avenue will be closed at 29th Street.

Soukup Construction will be working on utilities.

This work is anticipated to be completed in one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Norway Pine Trail

Beginning on Friday, August 16, 2024, East Norway Pine Trail will be closed just west of Willow Creek Avenue.

Backhaus Excavation will be working on new utilities.

This work is anticipated to be completed in one week.

Street Closure and Lane Closures – Downtown

Beginning on Sunday afternoon, August 18, 2024, there will be miscellaneous lane closures downtown with Phillips Avenue closed overnight after businesses close.

Dakota Traffic Services will be refreshing pavement markings.

This work will be completed by Monday, August 19, 2024, and the streets will be open by 6:30 a.m.

Traffic Signal Improvements – 10th Street and Bahnson Avenue

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024, the northbound left turn lane on East Bahnson Avenue will be closed at 10th Street. The traffic signals will be turned off to allow for replacement of a traffic signal cabinet. The northbound Bahnson Avenue traffic will be allowed to turn right onto 10th Street.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.
