Street Closure – Sixth Street

Beginning on Thursday, September 7, 2023, West Sixth Street will be closed west of Minnesota Avenue. A detour will be in place.

MidAmerican will be working on gas lines.

This work is anticipated to be complete before the evening commute.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 49th Street

Beginning on Friday, September 8, 2023, the outside westbound lane on West 49th Street will be closed at Solberg Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the south side of 49th Street.

Mulder Concrete will be repairing sidewalk.

This work is anticipated to be complete in a week.
