Public Works

Public Works provides safe streets and reliable utilities for City customers. Our top priorities include:

• maintaining streets, including snow removal,
• delivering fresh drinking water
• collecting and treating wastewater
• maintaining the storm sewer system
• delivering power to customers and the street light system
• operating the regional landfill and household hazardous waste facility

We support Sioux Falls’ dynamic growth and play an active role in the City’s capital improvement plan.
