Sioux Falls, South Dakota: Metro Communications is pleased to announce the opening of applications for Metro Communications Operator with the City of Sioux Falls on April 8, 2024. This exciting opportunity allows individuals to join a dedicated team committed to serving our community.

Metro Administrator Aimee Chase emphasized the significance of Metro Communications’ work in tandem with local public safety partners. “When individuals in our community are in need, they call 911, and our team at Metro Communications answers that call,” said Chase. “I am immensely proud of our team’s dedication and expertise, who work hard each day to connect the community with care.” 

Beginning April 8, 2024, individuals interested in joining Sioux Falls Fire Rescue and Metro Communications can submit their applications through the City’s official careers portal at siouxfalls.gov/careers. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, including opportunities for overtime and additional pay. Previous experience is not required, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
