Published on April 22, 2024

The City of Brandon, City of Sioux Falls, and Minnehaha County are hosting a Public Open House to gather public input to help shape the long-range vision of the Rice Street/Holly Boulevard corridor.

Open House Details:
Date: Thursday, April 25, 2024
Time: 5-7 p.m. CT
Location: Brandon Valley Assembly of God
201 S Sioux Blvd,
Brandon, SD 57005

The purpose of this open house is to present preliminary recommendations for the Rice Street/Holly Boulevard Corridor Study. Conceptual layouts reflecting recommended long-range modifications to the corridor, such as number of lanes, intersection configurations, railroad crossings, driveway access, and multimodal (bicycle and pedestrian) elements, will be available for review. Your feedback will help the study team finalize recommendations.

Study representatives will be available with displays to discuss the study and answer questions. During this time, participants will have the opportunity to submit written comments. Area residents, property owners, businesses, and daily commuters are encouraged to attend and participate in the open house.

Notice is further given to individuals with disabilities that this meeting is being held in a physically accessible place. If an ADA accommodation is needed, please contact Brandon City Hall at 605-582-6515 or 1-800-877-1113 (Telecommunication Relay Services for the Deaf) at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting.

Written comments will be accepted until May 10, 2024, and may be submitted at the public open house, through the study website, or directly to one of the study contacts.
