Street Closure - Klein Avenue

Beginning on Monday, May 6, 2024, South Klein Avenue will be closed to traffic from 41st Street to 42nd Street. Additionally, 41st Street will be reduced to one eastbound lane at the intersection and the westbound left turn lane from 41st to southbound Klein Avenue will be closed.  Access for residents on 42nd Street traffic east of Klein Avenue will be maintained during construction.

This work for the project includes utility improvements, grading, curb and gutter, asphalt pavement and restoration.

Weather permitting, the intersection work is anticipated to be completed within three weeks, with completion of the project anticipated to be completed by mid-September 2024.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
