Street Closure – 13th Street

Beginning on Thursday May 2, 2024, East 13th Street will be closed on the west side of Churchill Avenue to allow crews to perform repairs on the concrete valley gutter.

Motorists should utilize Bahnson Avenue to enter and exit the neighborhood.

This work is anticipated to be completed in one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Revised Start Date Street Closure - Klein Avenue

Previously scheduled to begin on Monday, May 6, 2024, will begin on Monday, May 13, 2024, South Klein Avenue will be closed to traffic from 41st Street to 42nd Street. Additionally, 41st Street will be reduced to one eastbound lane at the intersection and the westbound left turn lane from 41st to southbound Klein Avenue will be closed.  Access for residents on 42nd Street traffic east of Klein Avenue will be maintained during construction.

This work for the project includes utility improvements, grading, curb and gutter, asphalt pavement and restoration.

Weather permitting, the intersection work is anticipated to be completed within three weeks, and completion of the project anticipated to be completed by mid-September 2024.
