Lane Closure – Cliff Avenue

Beginning Tuesday, May 7, 2024, the outside northbound lane on South Cliff Avenue will be closed between East Third Street to the overhead railroad crossing north of East First Street.

Xcel will be working on their lines.

This work is anticipated to be completed in a week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 10th Street

Beginning Monday, May 13, 2024, at 7:00 a.m., the outside eastbound lane of East 10th Street will be closed to traffic from west of I-229 to Sycamore Avenue. 

South Blaine Avenue and South Thompson Avenue will be closed at East 10th Street. Work includes utility improvements, concrete repairs, pavement milling and asphalt overlay.

Weather dependent, this phase of work is expected to be completed by mid-July.

The overall project is anticipated to be completed by mid-September.
