  • Bids for this project were opened on March 28.
  • Blacktop Paving is the apparent low bidder.
  • Work is expected to begin in July.

Commuter Route Information

  • Lane closures will be seen at each intersection during the project.
  • Pedestrian detour routes will be provided.
  • Phase 1 will include closure of the north side of each intersection.
  • Phase 2 will include closure of the south side of each intersection.

Project Summary

The City of Sioux Falls will be continuing construction of the 15th Street Bicycle Boulevard. This portion of the Bicycle Boulevard includes signals on Prairie Avenue at 10th Street and also at 11th Street.

This project will consist of removal and installation of curb ramps and concrete fillets, removal and installation of pavement markings, expansion of pedestrian bump outs, and installation of new traffic signals.
