Project Update 6/28/2024

• Crews have completed the curb and gutter repairs, concrete joint repairs and sidewalk accessible curb ramp upgrades in the northbound and southbound lanes between 6th Street and Arrowhead Parkway (phase 1 & phase 2).

• They are currently working on concrete repairs in the center turn lane between 6th Street and Arrowhead Parkway (phase 3) and the curb and gutter repairs in the southbound lane between Madison Street and 6th Street (phase 6).

• Looking ahead, the contractor will soon be working in the westbound lanes of 6th Street between Sycamore Avenue and the entrance to Washington High School (phase 5A).

Commuter Route Information

• Lane closures will be in place.
• At a minimum, one lane of traffic will remain open in both directions at all times.
• Every effort will be made to minimize traffic disruption by Washington High School when school is in session.
