July is Parks and Recreation Month!

Each July, Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation celebrates its parks and recreation team and how they improve the lives of our community. Our city's 83 parks and hundreds of recreation programs help cultivate a better quality of life for Sioux Falls.  

Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation is proud to be ranked as one of the top 1% parks agencies in the country through the NRPA's Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies. This accreditation demonstrates that the department meets national standards of best practice.
