Food employees who have illneses that can be transmitted though food must be restricted or excluded by the facility from working with exposed food, handling clean equipment, utensils, linens, and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.

Lesions must be properly covered to prevent the transmission of body fluid to food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles.
