Signs
Signs use private land and sight lines created by public rights-of-way to inform and persuade the public with a message. The purpose of the regulations is to prevent the uncontrolled use of signs.
Permits are required for the following signs:
- Wall
- Ground or free-standing
- Temporary
No permits are required for the following signs:
- For sale or lease
- Banners under 100 square feet per business location and attached to a building or a freestanding sign
- Election signs during election season
The following signs are not allowed:
- Miscellaneous signs and posters
- Signs that look like a traffic directional sign
