ADA Coordinator & Grievance Procedure
The ADA Coordinator oversees the City of Sioux Falls' compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including the ADA Grievance Procedure and the ADA Transition Plan.

What the ADA Coordinator Does
The ADA Coordinator manages the City's responsibilities under the ADA, including:
- ADA Transition Plan Administration
- ADA Capital Improvement Program
- Return to Work/Reasonable Accommodation Process for City employees
- Paratransit Appeal Process
- ADA Grievance Procedure
- Liaison to Disability Awareness and Accessibility Review Board
How to File an ADA Grievance
Use this process if you believe the City has discriminated against you because of your disability, or has failed to make its services, activities, or programs accessible to people with disabilities.
You can file a complaint in several ways. If you need an alternative format—such as a personal interview or audio recording—please contact us, and we will help you.
Submit your complaint within 60 calendar days of the incident.

You also have the right to file a complaint directly with the U.S. Department of Justice or another appropriate state or federal agency at any time.
