Biography
Miranda Basye has proudly called Sioux Falls home her entire life and learned early on the importance of honest, hard work from her parents, Pam and Barney Cain IV. She graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with a double major in media studies and Spanish. While attending USF, Miranda played for the USF Cougar softball team. Today, she leads business operations, employee planning, client service experiences as the Chief Operating Officer for Halbach | Szwarc Law Firm.
Miranda has served in various organizations over the years, including Sales & Marketing Executives, Inc. of Sioux Falls, a Banquet Angel, Think 3D Leaders of Tomorrow Engagement Committee, and DistruptHR. Miranda is currently an active member of Downtown Rotary and the South Dakota Change Network through the Bush Foundation. Her husband, Tyler, is a middle school special education teacher and baseball coach.
Miranda enjoys spending time outdoors in her free time, including camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and attending numerous baseball tournaments with her husband, Coach Tyler and their german shorthairs. She also stays active by lifting weights and doing yoga.
