Shawn Pritchett

Director of Finance

Shawn has served as Director of Finance since November 2018.

In this role, Shawn oversees:

  • Development and administration of the City’s $790 million annual budget and $1 billion five-year capital program;
  • Administration of 4,000 public parking spaces downtown;
  • Maintenance of 1 million square feet of city-owned centralized facilities;
  • Oversight of the City’s six entertainment venues, including the baseball stadium, convention center, Washington Pavilion for Arts and Sciences, historic Orpheum Theater, PREMIER Center and iconic Sioux Falls Arena.

Shawn previously served in a variety of roles in the private and public sectors in banking, affordable housing, and economic development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Master of Arts degree in Public Affairs, both from the University of Minnesota.
