The Professional Standards Division is dedicated to maintaining the high standards of our Fire Department. For over two decades, we have held accredited status from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI). This is a testament to our commitment to rigorous standards, fair promotional processes, and informed decision-making.

We manage a broad array of essential functions that are crucial to our success. These responsibilities include developing and enforcing policies and procedures, conducting audits, and overseeing the accreditation process. These activities ensure we operate efficiently and hold ourselves accountable at all levels. We also provide ongoing training. This keeps our teams at the forefront of fire safety and emergency response techniques.

Our division works closely with the Public Information Officer (PIO) to share clear and timely information with the public. This enhances trust and demonstrates our commitment to the community.
