Prescribed Burn – Cliff Avenue

Beginning sometime around 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue will begin a prescribed burn east of South Cliff Avenue in the future Veterans Parkway corridor and the burn will follow the corridor east to Sycamore Avenue.  

There will be crews onsite to monitor until the burn has been fully completed.

This work is anticipated to be completed in approximately one day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
