Street Construction Updates & Closures

Lane Closures – 26th Street

Beginning on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the eastbound and westbound left turn lanes on West 26th Street will be closed at Lake Avenue to allow crews to make repairs to the sanitary sewer within the intersection.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 14th Street

Beginning on Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025, the outside eastbound lane on East 14th Street will be closed at Seventh Avenue. BNSF will be working on the railroad equipment.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the evening of Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and pedestrians may need to use alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025, the outside southbound lane on South Cliff Avenue will be closed at 20th Street.  BNSF will be working on the railroad equipment.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the evening of Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and pedestrians may need to use alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 61st Street

Beginning on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the westbound lane of East 61st Street will be closed between Cliff Avenue and South Quail Run Avenue. 

Runge Construction is installing new utilities in 61st Street.

This work is anticipated to be completed in approximately two weeks.
