Lane Closure – 41st Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the outside eastbound lane on West 41st Street will be closed at the Big Sioux River to allow for asphalt milling operations along the Recreational Trail from 41st Street to 49th Street. 

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 49th Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, the outside westbound lane on West 49th Street will be closed at the Big Sioux River to allow for asphalt milling operations along the Recreational Trail from 41st Street to 49th Street. 

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one day.

Lane Closure – 57th Street

Beginning on July 9, 2025, the outside westbound and eastbound lanes of East 57th Street will have moving closures between South Minnesota Avenue and South Cliff Avenue to allow crews to perform sidewalk repairs.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.

Lane Closure –Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, July 10,2025, the existing outside southbound lane closure in place on Minnesota Avenue between West 11th Street and West 14th Street will be extended south to West 18th Street to allow crews to complete sidewalk improvements.

This is the final phase of the project, which includes sidewalk improvements on both sides of 41st Street from Western Avenue to Westport Avenue, and on Minnesota Avenue from 11th Street to 18th Street. The entire project is anticipated to be completed by August.
