Street Construction Updates & Closures

Lane Closure – Marion Road

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, the outside southbound lane of South Marion Road will be closed between 24th Street and 26th Street.

Dave’s Construction will be performing utility work.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day on September 8, 2025.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Shoulder and Sidewalk Closure – 26th Street

Beginning on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, the shoulder and sidewalk on the south side of West 26th Street will be closed between Marion Road and Edna Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the north sidewalk.  

Backhaus Construction will be installing a new utility connection and replacing the sidewalk.

This work is anticipated to be completed by September 16, 2025.
