Street Closure – 15th Street

Beginning Monday, September 15, 2025, West 15th Street will be closed on the east side at South Grange Avenue to allow the contractor to install a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon at this intersection, as part of the 15th Street Bicycle Boulevard. South Grange Avenue will remain open with two lanes of traffic.

Beginning Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the intersection of West 15th Street and South Prairie Avenue will be closed to allow the contractor to install a traffic circle at this intersection, as part of the 15th Street Bicycle Boulevard.

Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed in early December.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure Update – West 22nd Street

West 22nd Street is closed between South Spring Avenue and South Minnesota Avenue. Soukup Construction will be performing concrete work.

The completion date for this work has been extended to the end of the day on September 19, 2025. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – West Batcheller Ln

Beginning on Monday, September 15, 2025, West Batcheller Ln. will have intermittent lane closures to allow crews to perform sidewalk repairs.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within one week.
