I-229 and Cliff Avenue Ramp Closure

Beginning on Monday, February 9, 2026, the northbound on-ramp from South Cliff Avenue to I-229 will be closed daily from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to allow crews to perform grading work and haul dirt from an area adjacent to the ramp. 

Weather permitting, this work is expected to be completed in approximately 3 weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Parking Area Closure – Phillips Avenue

On Friday, February 6th, 2026, parking between 317 South Phillips Avenue and 325 South Phillips Avenue will be closed between 3:00 a.m. and approximately 12:00 p.m.

The City of Sioux Falls Street Division will be doing repair work.
