POSTPONED Street Closure – East 26th Street

The work originally beginning on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., on East 26th Street has been postponed until further notice. When work begins, East 26th Street will be closed between South Ninth Avenue to South 10th Avenue. Traffic will be detoured to East 33rd Street at South Minnesota Avenue and South Cliff Avenue.

City of Sioux Falls Water Maintenance crews will be making road repairs following a water main leak.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
