Sidewalk Closure – Valley View Road

Beginning on Thursday, April 2, 2026, the west sidewalk along South Valley View Road will be closed from Chadwick Place to 32nd Street to allow crews to continue construction at the Kuehn Park Aquatic Facility.

The closure is expected to extend through the summer of 2026.

Pedestrians are urged to use caution when near the construction area and to use the signed detour routes.

Lane Closures – Intersections of 26th Street and 41st Street at Veterans Parkway

Beginning on Monday, April 6, 2026, the outside lanes at the intersections of 26th Street and 41st Street with Veterans Parkway will be closed to allow crews to complete concrete pavement, curb, and gutter repairs.

At a minimum, one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction. In the upcoming weeks, the location of the lane closures at these intersections will vary. Access to businesses, homes, and side streets will be maintained.

Repairs at these intersections are anticipated to be completed in early May. Construction activities along Veterans Parkway between 26th Street and 41st Street will be ongoing through July 2026.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area, and may want to consider alternate routes.
