Emergency Street Closure Updates

Street Closure – 15th Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, West 15th Street will be closed between Western Avenue and Willow Avenue. The south sidewalk will also be closed. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the north sidewalk.

Xcel Energy will be replacing a power pole.

The street is anticipated to be opened and traffic control removed by the end of the day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 57th Street

Beginning on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, the outside eastbound lane of East 57th Street will be closed just east of Cliff Avenue to Glenview Road to allow crews to repair concrete sidewalk panels.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the week.
