Street Construction Updates

Lane and Sidewalk Closure – South Main Avenue
Beginning on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. South Main Avenue will be restricted to one lane of southbound traffic from West Tenth Street to West 11tth Street. The east sidewalk will be closed, and pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the west sidewalk.
MJ Dalsin will be doing building improvements.
The work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on June 2, 2026
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – North Cliff Avenue
Beginning on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. North Cliff Avenue will be restricted to one lane of southbound traffic from East Mulberry Street, through the intersection with East Rice Street, and extending to the railroad tracks.
TSB will be doing electrical utility work.
The work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on May 28, 2026.

Street Closure – South Oxbow Avenue
Beginning at 8:30am on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, South Oxbow Avenue will be closed between West 57th Street and South Cottonwood Place. Traffic will be detoured to West 49th Street by way of South Louise Avenue. The west sidewalk of South Oxbow Avenue will be closed. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the west onto South Tennis Lane.
Precision Dirtworks will be installing utilities.
The work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on June 9, 2026.

Lane Restriction– West Algonquin Street
Beginning at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, West Algonquin Street will be restricted to two 12-foot lanes between East Pass and A Avenue. One lane of traffic will be allowed in each direction. The sidewalk of West Algonquin Street will be closed. Pedestrian traffic will be assisted on-site.
Northwest Corp. will be moving construction equipment.
