Beginning at 8:30 AM on Monday, July 20, 2026, the northbound outside lane of North Cliff Avenue will be closed between East First Street and East Rice Street. The east sidewalk will be closed. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the west sidewalk.
Xcel Energy will be replacing a utility pole. This work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on July 23, 2026.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes
