Beginning on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., the eastbound south sidewalk of East 57th Street North will be closed between North Hillcrest Avenue and North Lewis Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the north side of 57th Street North through the work area.
Double H Paving will be constructing a parking lot expansion and new driveway access.
The closure is anticipated to be in place for three weeks with favorable conditions.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
