Lane Closure – Madison Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, eastbound traffic on West Madison Street will be closed between Lyon Boulevard and Louise Avenue. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to 12th Street.

Ellis and Eastern Railroad will be making repairs to the rail crossing in the eastbound lanes of Madison Street.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day Friday, November 6, 2026.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Norton Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, South Norton Avenue will be closed between 21st Street and 22nd Street. 

South Eastern Development Foundation is relocating a structure.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day on November 4, 2026.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Sparta Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, South Sparta Avenue will be closed between Macedonia Street and 57th Street. Traffic will be detoured to Six Mile Road.

Signature Companies will be installing new utilities in the area.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed in approximately four days.
