Terrace Park

The Terrace Park Neighborhood Association is made up of neighbors who care about safety, community and preservation. Terrace Park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015 and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2016. The park is the heart of neighborhood life and contains the largest number of quartz features of any park in Sioux Falls, most of which are more than 90 years old. The neighborhood is also home to Covell Lake, a popular fishing and kayaking destination, the Japanese Gardens, a bandshell that hosts the Sioux Falls Municipal Band each Sunday during the summer months, and an aquatic center. You can find a little bit of everything here, and a lot of Sioux Falls history. Some of our signature neighborhood events now include a plant swap, a garden tour and National Night Out. We've also had block parties, game nights and movie night in the park.
