The South Dakota Department of Agriculture & Natural Resources (DANR) requires that special waste materials meet the standards outlined in state regulations. Specifically, asbestos-containing materials, contaminated soils, and non-hazardous wastes.
Generators must complete and submit a City of Sioux Falls Environmental Division Request for Authorization for Disposal of Special Waste Form to dispose of any special waste at the Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill (SFRSL).

All required fields, unless otherwise specified, must be filled out, and all supporting documentation must be submitted along with the completed form. Instructions for the form are provided on the first four pages.
