Intersection Overview

Project Update 4/1/2024

  • The project is currently advertised for bidding with bids being opened on April 18, 2024.

Commuter Route Information

  • The project will be completed in three phases which will include concrete work on the north  side of the intersection, concrete work on the south side of the intersection, and installation of the traffic signal. 
  • Outside lane closures on 57th Street will be necessary when performing concrete work on each side of the intersection. 
  • Intermittent lane closures will be necessary when installing the traffic signal poles, mast arms, and when wiring and aiming traffic signal heads. 
  • Pedestrian traffic will also be detoured to the south side of 57th Street when working on the north half of the intersection vice versa.
  • Every effort will be made to minimize travel impacts throughout the duration of the project. 
  • Access to adjacent businesses and residences will be maintained throughout the project.
