Project Update: 09/29/2025

The contractor has completed work on the underground utilities along Arrowhead Parkway and the sanitary sewer force main along the east side of Veterans Parkway south to 26^th Street.   The retaining wall installation near 10^th Street and the box culvert underpass construction under Arrowhead Parkway have also been recently completed

The contractor has begun paving along Arrowhead Parkway from 10^th Street to just east of Veterans Parkway.  Other work being completed includes box culvert underpass construction, reconstruction of the Arrowhead Parkway service road, finish grading along Arrowhead Parkway and Veterans Parkway, and site restoration.

Commuter Route Information

2025

• Arrowhead Parkway will be closed east of Veterans Parkway for the duration of the 2025 construction season.
• Arrowhead Parkway west of Veterans Parkway will remain open during 2025, except for approximately one month in the fall of 2025 to complete a temporary transition to the new pavement elevation to maintain traffic over the winter.
• Veterans Parkway will remain open to one lane of traffic in each direction at all times during 2025, except for approximately one week in the fall of 2025 to complete a temporary transition to the new pavement elevation to maintain traffic over the winter.

• Arrowhead Parkway will be closed west of Veterans Parkway for the duration of the 2026 construction season.
• Arrowhead Parkway east of Veterans Parkway will remain open to one lane of traffic in each direction at all times during 2026.
• Veterans Parkway will remain open to one lane of traffic in each direction at all times during 2026.

2027

• Periodic lane closures may occur in the spring of 2027 as work is finalized and general site cleanup occurs.
