Veterans Concrete Restoration & Joint Reseal from Arrowhead to 26th

Project Update: 07/01/2025

• Currently the northbound and southbound outside lanes and shoulders are closed, with northbound and southbound traffic utilizing the inside lanes of Veterans Parkway in both directions.
• The concrete repairs in the northbound outside lane and shoulder are complete and the process of resealing the pavement joints in this area has begun.  First the old sealant is cleaned out of the joint. Next, a soy-based concrete sealer is applied and finally, the joints are resealed with hot-pour joint sealer. This process will be repeated in the southbound outside lane and shoulder from Arrowhead Parkway to 26th Street.
• Sawing, removals and concrete placement have progressed in the southbound outside lane and shoulder to 23rd Street.  The contractor will continue the process in the southbound lanes to 26th Street.
• When the joint resealing has been completed in both the northbound and southbound outside lanes and shoulders, traffic control will be switched to close the northbound and southbound inside lanes allowing for completion of the necessary repairs.

Commuter Route Information

• Lane closures are in place.
• At a minimum, one lane of traffic will remain open in both directions at all times.  Access to businesses, homes and side streets will be maintained.
