Project Update: 06/30/2026

• Underground work is complete at the far east end of 42nd Street.
• On the west half of 42nd Street, sanitary sewer and water main installation have been completed. Storm sewer culverts, rough grading, and the gravel roadway have also been completed.
• With work on the west half complete, crews have moved to the east half to finish the remaining underground work along 42nd Street.
• Underground work has also begun on the west end of 46th Street. 

Commuter Route Information

• 42nd Street will be closed to traffic within the work area.

• 46th Street will be closed to traffic within the work area.

• Walkway paths and parking areas are complete for both 42^nd Street and 46^th Street.
