Benson Road / I-229 Interchange Reconstruction

Project Update 6/28/2024  

• The southbound on-ramp from Benson Road to I-229 will reopen during the first week in July, weather permitting.
• The mainline paving of Benson Road between Lewis Avenue and Potsdam Avenue began in late June, and will be completed in early July, weather permitting. Median paving and sidewalks will follow later this summer.
• Lewis Avenue is expected to be paved in the next few weeks, weather permitting.
• Bridge decking repairs are almost complete.

Commuter Route Information: 

• Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.
