Sioux Area Metro currently serves most centers for higher education within the community with direct access to the Downtown Bus Stop or the Southwest Transfer Center or both. These two places are where the buses start and stop their routes. You can take a bus from one part of the city to a transfer center, change buses, and get to almost anywhere within the city including major shopping and dining areas, and public services.
Outbound means the bus has left the transfer station where it started and is headed outward on the route.
Inbound means the bus has reached the furthest point of its route and is headed back to the transfer station where it started.
Some routes travel on the same street on both the inbound and outbound. Some routes travel on a particular street in only one direction of the route.
