Reservation Process

  • Reservations must be made at least 5 business days in advance.
  • Reservations can be made no more than 120 days in advance.
  • Only one time block reservation per name/event.
  • Reservations are made through the Parks and Recreation reservation system.
  • Reservations are first-come, first-served, except for Parks and Recreation or special events.
  • No reservations are scheduled on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or Christmas.
  • To make a reservation:
    • Call the Park Office at 605-367-8222 (8 AM - 5 PM, Mon-Fri, excluding holidays).
    • Visit the Park Office at 231 North Dakota Avenue.
    • Have your credit card ready for phone or online reservations. Cash or check accepted in person.

Fees and Policies

  • All reservation fees (listed in the table) are nonrefundable and due at the time of booking.
  • All setup, decorating, photography, and cleanup must occur within the reserved 4-hour time block.
  • A $5 non-refundable fee will be charged for each change to the original reservation.

  • Want to add a park shelter for a reception? Contact the Park Office for assistance. 
    • A $25 nonrefundable reservation fee is charged at the time the reservation is made.
  • Permits: For canopy, amplified sound, vehicle, or inflatable play device permits, contact the Park Office at 605-367-8222.
