Disc Golf

Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation offers three distinct disc golf courses across the city's park system, providing year-round recreational opportunities for both novice and experienced players. Baskets remain up continuously unless maintenance or special park improvements require temporary removal.

General Course Rules & Information

• Hours: All city disc golf courses are open daily during standard park hours from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Eligibility: Open, free, and accessible to all members of the public. No prior reservations are required for casual play.
• Tournament Planning: To organize a formal league, tournament, or large group event on city courses, please contact the Parks and Recreation office ahead of time to coordinate scheduling.

Tuthill Park Disc Golf

Widely recognized as one of the region’s finest disc golf offerings, Tuthill Park features a highly challenging 18-hole layout set amidst scenic rolling hills and mature trees.
Physical scorecards and a complete aerial course map are conveniently located at the top of the hill near the course entrance.

Spencer Park Disc Golf

Spencer's 9-hole course plays through trees and prairie grass areas near the Big Sioux River and Greenway Trail. Combine Tomar and Spencer courses by crossing the footbridge on the trail.

Tomar Park Disc Golf

This challenging 9-hole course is designed to test both novice and experienced players alike. The layout features tighter tee-offs that require high accuracy rather than raw long-distance throwing power. Consider bringing a few extra discs for this woodline-adjacent course.
