Indoor Play Area

The Westside Recreation Center's (WRC) 1,600-square-foot Indoor Play Area gives families a year-round destination for active play. The high-energy space is designed for children ages 3–11 and features multilevel structures, slides, and interactive games—making it the perfect stop before or after enjoying the pool.

What's Inside

• Toddler zone with a sculptural climber for younger children
• Multilevel play structure with slides and a rock wall
• "The Stomp," an interactive game for up to four players

Rules and Safety

Capacity: 69 guests

• Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian (ages 15 and older) at all times.
• Play equipment is designed for children ages 3–11.
• Remove shoes, loose clothing, and jewelry before using the equipment or entering the green flooring area. Place shoes in the cubbies provided.
• Socks must be worn at all times. Socks are available for purchase at the front desk for $2.
• Shoes may be worn on the blue carpet and in the Kids Gym.
• Use slides one at a time, in a forward seated position, feet first.
• No climbing on or up the slides.
• No running.
• No food, gum, or drinks are permitted in the play area. Sealed water bottles are welcome in the seating area.
• Do not bring personal toys or other items into the play structure.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

WRC staff conduct light cleaning checks every hour. The full play area undergoes a thorough deep cleaning by the maintenance team each night at closing.
