Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was established in 1880 and has grown along with the Sioux Falls Community. Currently, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue operates out of 12 fire stations across the community and 1 public safety center for training. This new location near W. 62nd St. N and N. Career Ave. will be Fire Station 13.
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue is an all-hazards response agency, including firefighting, EMS, Hazmat, Rescue, and Fire Prevention.
The single-story building will have an approximate footprint of 12,500 square feet. As our community grows, it is designed to maintain emergency response times, improve coordination across teams, and optimize the delivery of inspection services.
