PATH School SAFE Routes

Safety is a parent’s responsibility. Children learn safety lessons at school. Those lessons can be reinforced or destroyed in minutes by the actions of parents. Encourage your children to cross streets safely at corners, follow established “safe routes to school,” and obey all traffic laws.

Don’t teach disrespect of the law by disobeying parking regulations or telling your child to cross streets at midblock. A few minutes of convenience for a parent can result in a lifetime of suffering for a child.

Select your child's school to find the PATH-recommended SAFE route to and from the school. 

You can view the map on your screen, or download or print the map for use later.

View, Print or save a map as a PDF

  1. Open the PATH School Safe Routes interactive map.
  2. Choose your school to see the route(s).
  3. Select the Print icon in the map toolbar. This opens the Print widget panel.
  4. Select Print to generate a results list.
  5. Select the file that appears under the Results tab to open your PDF. From there, you can print it or download it to your device.
