It is the goal of Metro Communications to provide the public with access to all information defined as public by law or regulation while maintaining the confidentiality of information exempt from release.

Available Requests

The following report requests are for incidents occuring within the City of Sioux Falls and all of Minnehaha County:

  • 911 Call Audio
  • CAD Narrative
  • Radio Traffic

Report Costs

Audio recordings are $20.00/hour after the first hour, plus tax per request. Cash or credit payments accepted.

All recordings will be emailed as digital files, unless a CD is specifically requested or if the file is too large to send via email. Compact discs are available for an additional $2.00 fee.

If a CD is made, you will be notified when it is available for pickup. Pickup will be available at the Law Enforcement Center (320 W. 4th St., Sioux Falls, SD).

Please allow 7-10 business days for requests to be completed.
