Lane Restrictions – 41st Street and Phillips Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, the eastbound and southbound through lanes at the intersection of 41st Street and South Phillips Avenue will be shifted to utilize the dedicated left turn lanes on both sides of the intersection. Two-way traffic will be maintained in all directions.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue Cadet Academy Applications Open April 20

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue (SFFR) will begin accepting applications on April 20 for its next cadet academy. Applications open once a year and the academy is scheduled to begin in early 2027.

Prescribed Burn Planned Tuesday near Water Reclamation Facility

Beginning Tuesday, March 24, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue (SFFR) will conduct a prescribed burn of overgrown vegetation at the City of Sioux Falls’ Water Reclamation Facility at 4500 N. Sycamore Ave., near the intersection of E. 60th Street N. and Veterans Parkway.
