As election season starts, the City of Sioux Falls reminds residents of important voter information, key deadlines and election sign regulations. The municipal election for mayor, at-large city council members A and B, and the central and southeastern council districts will be held Tuesday, June 2, in conjunction with the state’s primary election.

Lane Closure on South Second Avenue

Effective immediately, South Second Avenue is closed between East 15th Street and 18th Street.

Lane Closures on Veterans Parkway

Beginning on Monday, February 2, 2026, the northbound left turn lane on Veterans Parkway will be closed at 41st Street to allow the contractor to work on traffic signals.
