Beginning on Monday, August 31, 2026, 271st Street (Lincoln County Highway 106) will be closed between Cliff Avenue and Southeastern Avenue to allow crews to install a steel casing pipe under the railroad tracks and under Cliff Avenue.

Mayor Christine Erickson selected individuals representing the city, Sioux Falls City Council and community to serve on two hiring committees.
